Ashley Binning's journey in education began in a national service program, where she completed two terms of service as a literacy site coordinator. She went on to work with Los Angeles based non-profits in partnership with LAUSD. After years of nonprofit management and collaborating with LAUSD stakeholders, she transitioned to LAPL to learn more about adult literacy. She now oversees staff at 21 literacy centers across Los Angeles among other aspects of programming.
