I’m a 2nd generation native of Los Angeles and graduate of UCLA. As an ESL teacher in the Adult Division of LAUSD since 2003, I have learned from many wonderful students and mentor teachers. I hope to share some of what I’ve learned about teaching reading with people attending the 2020 LARAEC Conference. I am a big proponent of COLOR VOWELS!
