I have been an adult education instructor for 37 years! Time flies when you are living your dream! I am currently teaching a Career Technical Education (CTE), Personal Care Aide class for Montebello Community Adult School. It is a 90-hour course, which allows adult education students to learn the theory and practical applications to become a caregiver for aging adults and/or adults with disabilities in a variety of community living settings. Compassion, Dignity, and Respect, my CDRs are first in my heart as I share my passion in life of caring for and serving aging adults and adults with disabilities. The 'living my dream' of teaching continues as an Adjunct Professor for Chaffey College. I teach classes in the Health Sciences Department – Gerontology Program. Personal Care Aides are the HEART of Healthcare! Please join me in exploring how using your HEART can lead you to a fabulous career as a Personal Care Aide. Reach for the stars and continue to pursue your educational goals. Your enthusiasm and dedication to the learning process can lead to strong and vibrant community partnerships and successful job opportunities in healthcare. I look forward to exploring with you! With Compassion, Dignity and Respect, Judy McFadden
