There's been a lot of focus on technology and technology integration since March when we were all thrown into online teaching. But there's been little focus on actually teaching online. This presentation will focus on the following major areas:
  • Online Teaching Techniques, 
  • Communicating with Students, and 
  • Preparing Students to Become Good Online Learners.

I've been using online teaching techniques since 2009 when I attended an OTAN Training on Moodle. What I've learned in all this time, is online teaching is NOT teaching online. It's being transformed form a "Teacher" to a "Guide on the Side."
